I better just post all my pop/rap-oriented stuff and finish that off first. This blog is dedicated to good dance music, and I think this is acceptable (even if it is mainstream). I am personally not a fan of vocal or mainstream dance/house, but sometimes an acceptable song filters through. This, I hope, is one of them.
I also threw in the album version for good measure.
Don't worry disco house fans. Big posts coming up.
Rihanna - Don't Stop The Music (remix)
Dave Armstrong - Groove In You

A super smooth bassline on this one boys and girls. Get it while it's hot.
Well, all puns aside - this is smokin'.

Dave Armstrong - Groove In You
Discogalaxy Vol. 22

A bit of a different sound from this release (sadder in my opnion) - but still totally awesome and danceable to. Be sure to go buy every single one of his songs. This guy is great!
Putyourfeettothebeat (JRs Club Mix)
Discokris - Save Me

A very nice release from Discokris that was released in April. I'm glad to see that these guys are keeping disco house alive!
Save Me - Discokris
Michael Jackson - Billie Jean (and remixes)

One of Michael's most signature song gets a few house remixes that are just as catchy as the orignal. Check it.
Billie Jean - Michael Jackson
Billie Jean (Discogalaxy remix)
Soulwax - NY Excuse

A Soulwax treat that samples a bit of Lipps Inc. Hey, sampling is a great way to make old stuff sound new. Or new stuff sound old...
Hmmm... anyway, Soulwax - NY Excuse is great. Go sampling!
Marshall Jefferson - Move Your Body (The House Music Anthem)

If you're into any current wave electro (ed banger, boyz noize) or heck, even disco house, then you need to hear how it all came down (if you don't know).
It's a long story, but all the way back in 1986...
